Having majored in Business Administration at the University of Akron in 1982, Rodney Napier found he had a high instinct for real estate development that aided him in becoming a licensed real estate agent at Coldwell Banker. Throughout his career, Napier has garnered experience of human capital management, acquisitions, crisis management, and maximizing revenue from a multitude of channels. His personal strengths include the ability to identify and develop new perspectives, create opportunities, and eliminate the obstacles that are blocking the path to success.
Between 1992 and 2000, Napier was an active member on the Board for the Jackson Township Zoning Commission. The Commission’s aim was to develop Jackson Township into a prime location to live and work while regulating building within the community and protecting its residents and the environment. The Commission and Napier succeeded, which lead to Napier’s election as the Chairman of the Board in 2000.
Rodney Napier is also the Founder and Chairman of the Board for The Granted Wish Foundation, an organization dedicated to granting wishes of physically challenged children and young adults. As well as many other projects, his philanthropic work includes supporting the non-profit social service agency Pathway Caring for Children. He has donated land and funds for the construction of a home for children who have not been adopted and would otherwise be caught in the endless shuffle of foster care.
Napier prides himself on his creative thinking and his ability to inspire creativity in those around him. He has a passion for research, literature, and creative writing. He received a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his critical involvement in a successful campaign in support of the Plain Township Law Enforcement Levy. He is active in local, regional, and national politics, and supports causes that contribute to the improvement of the economy of the USA. Napier resides in Florida and is the proud father of three wonderful children.
